World Record Inspirational BLOG HOP!

Edit: The link is now working! Sorry for the mix-up!

Welcome to Unity's World Recover Inspirational BLOG HOP! Wow, I'm thrilled to be a part of this awesome event.

If you want to start at the beginning go to Angela's blog. She also has some really great specials going on in her store so check them out here.

I won't hold you up since I know there are a ton of other blogs we all wan to visit so here are the deets to my card:

The base of my card is Clear Cardstock. I used one of my fav Unity stamp kits: Hey Chick! I stamped these cuties onto several different Basic Grey designer papers and paper pieced them together onto white paper. (Click on the images to get a closer look!)

I used oval and scallop oval nestabilities for the base for the birdies. The cool heart is from the center of Creative Memories' new Sweet Heart Maker. (More about this fun punch at the end of this post). I embossed the clear cardstock with Cuttlebug's "With Love" embossing border. I added a little bling to the centers of the flowers. (I LOVE this effect on the cardstock!)

On the inside of the card I folded some pink cardstock and adhered the cute Heidi Grace dp. The purple dp is from Anna Griffin and punched with Martha Stewart punch.

View of the inside of the card.

See how the pink paper in the center opens to allow the sender to write their own thoughts?

I hope you enjoyed your visit here today. Now stop on by

Ladies, I'm SO SORRY that the link wasn't working. I was having a hard time getting the font large enough and I guess I didn't link it right after all was said and done (early this morning after practically no sleep).

Thank you for your patience! The link is now fixed.

*gosh, I'm so embarrassed!*

OH WOW, this looks very Indian, Taj Mahlish, do you get what I'm saying? The way you've done those birds is brilliant, I never done paper piece thingy, but it looks good. But my favourite thing on the card has to be the embossing at the bottom, with the gems it looks wonderful. The whole card's just brilliant, I hate you, NOT REALLY :O) Just a lot jealous.
Take care & keep smiling
