Below is a card that I made last week for my friend Fawlyn. We went scrapbooking on Friday night (Sep 19) to celebrate our birthdays. My birthday was on Sep 20 and hers was yesterday. We get a free crop during the month of our birthdays at a local scrapbooking store. Fawlyn recently moved to a small town about an hour away so it was a real treat to get to see her again and spend some time with her.

The lighting wasn't great when I took this picture but I was in a hurry to get it done! Some of the paper is stuff I have laying around and the rest is Creative Memories. The brads are from Target $1 isle (the top fall off - I later found out! Bummer!) The stamp set is from Gina K Designs and I used Stampin' Up's chalks to color. The owls had more color in real life... I plan to make another one so when I do, I'll have to take another picture of it.

Here is the inside of the card:

Jessica also wanted to make a card for Samantha. She discovered some of my punches and CM's new pen adhesive. Great thing about that adhesive is that it's hard to get too much - but of course Jessica found a way! haha!

Here is the inside of Jessica's card. Isn't is precious?!

So I took Brandon to his orthodontist appointment and afterwards we went out to eat. Brandon was telling that he really wanted an athletic wristband. I had wanted to go to Target anyway so that's where we went. Well, after much walking around and asking a couple of Target employees, we found ONE set of wristbands and Brandon didn't like them. They were red and white (not his colors) and had a weird symbol on them. So we found a headband (that was black and white with the same symbol) and I altered it to fit his wrist. Yeah, I dah Mom! So here is Brandon showing off his wristband.

Here he is goofing off thinking that I didn't catch him. haha! He's such a funny guy!

Just for fun, here's our cat, Charlie, in his favorite hiding place. He likes the birdhouse that I painted but I think he enjoys the basket more! These are on top of a very large cabinet that Karl made - very close to the ceiling. (I hate popcorn ceilings!)

Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty !!!

Hi Nancy! Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog about the planner. Yes, I did make it from scratch and used my bind it all for the wire coiling. They were fun to make!
I love your owl card! Too cute!

WOW, you painted that with your own fair hands! How clever are you. It's absolutly stunning, so why have you got it stuck on top of a cupboard? Get it down and let the world see it. I'm sure your cat won't mind (cute cat).
Take care & keep smiling
